Two iconic gemstones — Muzo emeralds from Colombia and Argyle pink diamonds from Australia – have been united in a remarkable new jewellery collection.
The ‘Green Jewel Tradition Collection’ features 13 exquisite, one-of-a-kind pieces ranging from cocktail rings to brooches.
The pieces are created and designed by Singapore-based Australian jeweller John Glajz, an Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon Partner, who said it is a collection that will stun collectors of fine jewellery.
“It has been an honour for me to collaborate with Muzo and Argyle in the development and design of this fourth Green Jewel Collection. Since its debut in 2018, this special collaboration has evolved into a tradition of its own,” he told Jeweller.
“The harmony between the finest gemstone quality Muzo emeralds with the sweet and vibrant tones of Argyle pink diamonds continues to mesmerise international collectors and connoisseurs of rare and magnificent jewels.”
Colombian emeralds are renowned for their remarkable quality, and the Muzo emerald mines are the source of some of the world’s most iconic gemstones.
Jason Woods, president of Muzo Emerald Colombia, said: “We are honoured to have found in Argyle a partner who shares similar values: a commitment to excellence, quality and sustainability.”
He added: “Together, we aspire to shape the future of the industry for the better and leave behind a long-lasting legacy that reaches far beyond the boundaries of our mines.”
The collection will be launched online at Moda Operandi to coincide with the retailer’s holiday gift guide before beginning a worldwide tour that includes New York, Geneva, and Singapore.
