Tiffany & Co has put the finishing touches on an unusual collaboration, releasing a new jewellery collection created alongside the Japanese media franchise Pokémon.
The collection features nine pieces, ranging in price from $US1,290 ($AU1,990) to $US29,000 ($AU46,290). The most expensive piece is a Pikachu pendant made with 18-carat gold and diamonds.
Seven sterling silver pendants with diamond accents are also available, six featuring individual Pokemon and a seventh with a collection of characters.
“We partnered to re-contextualise iconic Pokémon from the beloved Japanese entertainment brand into a jewellery capsule collection expressed in my Future Relics aesthetic,” designer Daniel Arsham told Highsnobiety.
“I am constantly inspired by this fictional idea of something being discovered in the distant future, a sort of ‘time capsule of tomorrow.’ With my latest Tiffany collaboration, we’ve immortalised our beloved Pokémon in a celebration of Tiffany’s renowned artistry.”
The collection will be available for purchase online for just 24 hours on 29 November.
