The Perth Mint has unveiled the dazzling ‘Argyle Treasures’ ring, a bespoke handcrafted piece inspired by the Western Australian landscape.

The ring is crafted from 18-carat gold and features 285 pink diamonds paired with four blue diamonds. Every diamond was sourced from Australia’s Argyle Mine.

The ring features two vivid pink oval diamonds (0.75 carats) designed to reflect the Kimberley region. A further 2.11 carats of pink diamonds, as well as 0.03 carats of blue diamonds, complete the piece.

The Argyle Treasures ring was created as a collaboration between renowned Australian jeweller John Glajz, an Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon Partner, and the Perth Mint’s in-house design staff.

“It is an honour to create pieces using the iconic Argyle pink diamonds,” Glajz said.

“This timeless treasure is set to be an elegant heirloom that can be passed down through the generations.”

General manager of minted products Neil Vance said this ring was a reminder that Australia is fortunate to be the source of so many of the world’s rarest and most remarkable diamonds.

“Argyle Treasures showcases the world’s rarest colour diamonds, which are found in only one place in the world, and we are so fortunate that place is right here in Western Australia,” he explained.

Argyle Treasures is priced at $AU889,000 and is available for purchase in-store or online.
